On Thursday, June 25, 2009 at approximately 5:56 pm, the victim was
standing on a porch located in the 2200 block of Cadiz Street. At that
time a subject later identified as Burtell Thomas, black male, date of
birth 4-14-83 fired several shots which struck the victim mortally
wounding him. The suspect fled in a silver four-door Pontiac in an
unknown direction.

The suspect Burtell Thomas who is currently wanted for the offense is
described as a black male, 5’5”, weighing 130 pounds.
