On April 21, 2009, at 11am, Second District officers apprehended two
individuals for copper theft of a business located in the 600 block of
Louisiana. The two suspects; Darryl Mcdaniel ( w/m 9/20/73 ) and Juan
Canamar ( w/m 3/17/72 ) were arrested and charged with theft and
institutional damage to property valued at $300,000.00. Additional
information on this arrest and or subsequent prosecution can be
