Themes are a great way to go. It is much easier to select photos to
display once you come up with a system for grouping them!
I'm curious how the exhibit will look in the space at Ebenezers. Good
luck with everything guys!
If this helps...Here are some themes that came to my mind while I
looked through the JustShootMe pool:
-Night shots
-Nature
(the green stuff and the flowery stuff, the turning leaves and the wide
open fields and stuff.)
-Animals
-Abstract
(some of the nature closeups would fit this category...as well as some
night shots.)
-Travel
(some of you traveled to exotic places, some just got out of the
beltway... either way, I'd consider these travel shots.)
-Washington DC
(this kind of overlaps the night-shots theme...but when I see the
collection of monuments/landmarks you've shot, I kind of think it is a
nice representation of the city.)
-Black and White
-Hmm...and how about a category that is something like: "A fresh look
at our everyday environment" where you can pull together those closeup
photos, or the photos of your room/apartment/home that Stephen
suggested we take a while back, and other photos that make you notice
something new in your otherwise ordinary surroundings.
There are a lot of categories you could do...hmmm. I don't know. The
good thing is that you can always display more photos with different
themes at a future exhibit!
two cents is what I'm worth,
