Subject: Presentation of a Newbie
Hello,

I am new, so let me introduce myself.
I am an old young GameCube Player.
I recently bought my first TV Console - A Gamecube - some 6 months ago
(this is why I am young) .. On the other hand, I am married with 2
kids and am 42 years old (thus old)

I really love the Gamecube because games are really different &
graphics are cute
I now own around 15 different games which I got through internet
placing offers on auction sites.

Last month, I bought on the Internet a japanese game named "Naruto
Ninja Taisen 3" and was quite frustrated since I could not unlock some
of the characters due to my inability to :
1°) understand what was written
2°) Use the gamepad as a real "pro" to finish the mentions

Thanks to Gamefaqs, I learnt there was a way to load & save games
using an USB cable & a specific memory card that I bought on Play
Asia.

Some of the saves I got do not work properly even after being
converted to PAL.
I have so far managed to have correct working saves for the following
games :
- Super Smash Bros
- Naruto Ninja Taisen (Japanese version)
- Soul Calibur 2
- Bloody Roar

I am stuck on Star wars Rogue Leader, Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance &
Lord of the Ring Return of the King ... the saves I got never worked -
even after a conversion to PAL .. May be is it due to the fact I have
a french version of the game.

I have also a very nice RPG Game (Summoner - a Goddess Reborn) which
is very good.
I can post saves if you want (the game I have is in German)

Hey hi, good to have you with us. I am sorry to say that the group stop the sharing of game saves quite a little while ago. We are purely a Nintendo discussion gaming.

For saves I would say: http://www.wiisave.com/ is probably the best right now on the net.

Sorry about that.

What part of the world are you in? And you're doing a fair few games for your young self.

Take care,

Dave (N-Scene Admin)

Welcome to the group.

you don't really need a game save for Star Wars: Rogue Leader as there are codes to unlock all the extra's, vehicles and levels, aswell as infinite lives :)
The only thing that can't be unlocked the easy way (to my knowledge) is the ultra hard mode, which is unlocked by getting gold on all the levels - I have about 8 gold, 15 silver and 6 bronze.

Thank you for your answer.. I shall check the website you've just
mentionned.
I am from France but I am currently living in Switzerland near Geneva
(they speak french in this part of Switzerland - which I must admit
selflishly is rather cool).
I really like the Nintendo games - I find theme quite creative
compared to what we can see on the PC world.
At first, I thought all games were for small children (I got my first
gameboy color when the daughter of a friend told me about pokemons
that could be exchanged & shared) but realised that there were quite a
lot of games for adults.
I have a gbc, gameboyadvance & a DS which I use to play during my
"free time" on public transportation.
As said before, I have only recently tried the gamecube as a first tv
console & in a way i found it more convenient than a PC

Cheers,
Manu
