Subject: Houston Great Books Council - July 4th event - discussion of US Constitution Article III

The Houston Great Books Council will sponsor a reading and discussion of
Article III of the U.S. Constitution – dealing with the Judicial Branch of
the United States– on Saturday, July 4.  The event will be held at Barnes &
Noble located at Westheimer and Voss/Hillcroft  (7626 Westheimer) from 1 – 3
p.m.  This discussion will be especially timely with the pending
confirmation of Judge Sonia Sotomayor.  Constitution Law professor Charles
(Dusty) Rhodes will introduce the discussion.

This is a chance to do something patriotic, educational and enjoyable
between morning parades and evening fireworks.  Come learn more about the
duties and powers of our federal court system.  No charge, but please rsvp
to 713-974-5107.  Water and light refreshments will be served.
