It depends on your personal preference. Are you usually at a desk, and
not intimidated by large blank pages to fill? You could use the large
size. Does your day take you to many places, and you enjoy jotting
notes as you have the odd moment to jott down a note, you may be
better served with a pocket-sized one in your bag or pocket. Or one of
the cahiers stashed in several of the places you work from most often,
transfering the information back to a large one when they are full.
The beauty of so many different models is that you can tailor their
use to your personal preferences.
