Hi everyone,
We're pleased to announce that we've finalized the date and venue for
MinneBar, Minneapolis-St. Paul's BarCamp.
MinneBar will be held on Saturday, April 21s starting at 9:00am in
Lowertown, St. Paul's "warehouse district." RSVP at http://barcamp.org/MinneBar
We've secured two floors of a vacant early twentieth century warehouse
converted to office space. It's got a great vibe -- brickwork,
hardwood timbers, great windows and a giant skylight -- and space for
many sessions. Speaking of which:
*Call For Participation*
Last year's MinneBar had 24 sessions, whose topics included Ruby on
Rails, Agile Design, Microformats, CSS, citizen journalism, Ajax and
the the Future of Art and the Internet . This year, our space can
accommodate more sessions and more people, so don't be shy.
Have a topic you want to present/discuss? There's no presentations
board, nor any pay to present silliness. Just pop over to
http://barcamp.org/MinneBar and add it to the list.
*Goodies*
We're still working out the logistics, but come expecting a free
breakfast, lunch, afternoon appetizers, evening drinks and a MinneBar
t-shirt. We'll send details on these in future emails as we nail down
the specifics. All of this, of course, is made possible by our
sponsors:
