Hopefully we'll watch the AMA Daytona 200
Supersport-Extreme-ThunderTwin-Superbike or whatever the hell they're/doing
calling the roadracing class that is the premier race this year. Usually
that starts around 1pm, but we never know as SpeedTV likes to switch around
their programming and or keep us guessing about the schedule until the last
minute. Regardless, we'll watch something- AMA Flat Track, Motocross or the
Dust To Glory Baja 1000 movie, kick tires, bench race, and get stoked for
summer!

We had a couple of Chiviners participate in '07.   (Kevin and Darren) Maybe they will post some pictures.  I just got to talk to them about it at the ChiVinMoto track day (Thanks again Big Bob) and they were still pumped.

Another Chicago participant was Bob "Ace" Baumgartner. He drag raced a Triumph in the '60's and is still on a quest for speed.

 

Actually I intend to attend the Bub meet this year. Max Lambky's streamliner is scheduled to go over 350 mph using two 55 year old engines. I intend to be there when he does it. For bikers, the Bub meet is the way to go.
