Construction has started on Michigan City's newest brew pub, the
Shoreline Brewery. Sam Strupek, formerly the brewer at Aberdeen Brewing
Company in Valparaiso, has partnered with his father and purchased an
old warehouse structure at 208 Wabash Street. The brewery will be
completed first with brewing to commence around the beginning of June.
Shoreline will feature up to 12 of their own beers on draught as well
as a full wine and liquor license.
The kitchen and dining areas are slated to be open around the end of
June. An eclectic menu will be available ranging from burgers to dishes
with a French influence. Watch for further updates as the business
develops.
