There is a guy on the liquid_templates list who copied (without
forking) Sven's plugin, and has updated it to work with modern
will_paginate and liquid versions.

Because it wasn't a fork, I found this _after_ I gave up on trying to
update the pagination plugin on my own, so I thought I'd save someone
else the time.

Nice to see people picking this up :)

The disconnection from my github repo (and thus the old version) is a  
bit unfortunate though. Also, he's re-licensed to CC.

I'll contact the author.
