Our MAGIC 5.53 to 5.62 Go-Live date is/was today. The downflags were
set at 0900, and at 1050 our Update Coordinator called to say that all
of our applications, except the Data Repository, had been converted. So
we notified our update team to test their applications. We opened the
applications for general usage at 1217. We turned the NMI interfaces
back on, and we have not looked back.
Cudos to Meditech! (As well as to our very hard-working update team.)
So far, I believe we have only created three update-related tasks, and I
think there might be one or two more to modify some parameters.
Right now, it appears that I will be allowed to come back to work
tomorrow morning so everything must have gone OK.
Hope this helps.
