Subject: RE: select date and time range
Richard! Good morning...
Looking at the field in DPM Online, it's actually the product of %Z.date.out(@enter.date)_"-"_...@enter.time
I'm not certain what that means in diddling with the format but I'd guess the field, if placed on the picture, would look like 01/22/10-1900.
The field enter.date is the standard Meditech format...YYYYMMDD
You might try a little start macro to create your default range...
Your footnote...
AL START start
And make your start macro just the date manipulations..
%Z.date.out(%Z.date.add(@enter.date,0-1))_"-1900"^/FIRST,
%Z.date.out(enter.date)_ "-0659"^/LAST
enter.date.and.time GE /FIRST
enter.date.and.time LE /LAST
And remember to translate from the "Process Reports" screen to incorporate the macro code.
I'm slapping this together hurriedly without verifying any of it but I think your routine will run for yesterday at 1900 through today at 0659...
You could try those date manipulations in computed fields first and put them on your output to see what you'll be getting..
Sometimes using Z routines on fields that are themselves products of Z routines causes some problems.
