[MEDITECH-L] Magic - Zero dollar balance accounts

Hello,

For those of you without an Optical Disk archiving solution, how many
years of Zero Dollar balance accounts do you keep on line? We haven't
run a purge in at least 8 years and our month ends are taking forever..
Not too mention the space..

The thoughts here are to keep at least 5 years in AR but, I was
wondering what others are doing??

Hi, Anne,

At my last facility, nothing except conversion accounts have been purged
since they went Live with Meditech in '95. They went to larger machines
with powerful processors and much additional space to address the
problems you mention.
