[MT-L] adt trigger

[Dorn, Doris - DCHS IT]

What is the easiest way to trigger an ADT transaction from BAR? Does
anyone have a custom that they use to do this? I know in some other
applications, programmers have a sort of scripted solution that goes in
and changes some field and then removes the change, triggering two
events. I wondered if anyone had seen this set up in MEDITECH ? thanks
for any ideas.

ADT does not come from BAR only from ADM. If you do not have access to
resend an outbox message, you can go into ADM and edit the
registration to trigger an update ADT message. This will send an A08
message.

Yes, I know it comes from ADM. I haven't seen any registration links or
triggers from BAR, but I was wondering if there was a quick way for
users to initialize an A08 for instance.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but when I am in BAR, under Process Accounts, I can edit reg info and file it. That will generate an ADT A08 from BAR. Pretty quick and easy.
