Is there a way to select a creatinine value and skip a alpha result like
QNS?
I have an NPR written out of LAB.L.SPEC that is used to calculate CRCL
for pharmacy. Every time lab puts in a alpha results if causes the PHA
PATIENET SCREEN to lock up. Lab has to be called to fix the problem.
How does other labs handle this problem?
Thanks

I would evaluate the creat value in the report to ensure it is numeric.
If it is, then do the calculation. If it isn't then do something
different in the report.

i.e. IF{CREAT?0D CALCULATE;"Unable to calculate"}

You can do a more complete test via unlimited decimals/numbers pattern
match data checks like this:

S.CREAT?0D0N^OK

So it can be 2 0r 2.2 or 0.2

?0D0N must be expressed in this order!
