We are a magic facility. We are working towards going Live with CPOE in our ED. The RNs can document on the eMAR when they first hang a large vol IVF. However, we are trying to figure out how the RN can document that the first bag was completed (time & amount) and then scan/document for the start of the next bag? And if shift changes, how does the 2nd RN take over and document a bag that she did not hang?

Any suggestions....
