Hi,
We would like to get our eMAR implemented in the next year and would
like to know what companies some of you (without a 24 hour pharmacy) use
for off hours service or how you handle it if you do not contract with
someone for this. If you would also include name of company, contact
information and cost it would be appreciated.
The other question related to this is how do you handle SAM meds on
eMAR? Does pharmacy still enter them as orders (i.e. TUCKS pads for
OB)? Did you have to change your pharmacy workflow and/or how orders
are entered there to make your eMAR functional?
Any insight you can give us would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sandy DePlonty
