Hello,

We're a Magic site migrating to 6.x. I'm working on some of our CDS
screens for Payroll.

We have an attribute in a CDS in Magic that takes a birthdate from a
query(PPSPOUSE), and displays the calculated Age in another
query(PPBDAYCALC). Here is the Working Magic Syntax:

IFE=P(R,S,%Z.age.in.years([ANS,"PPSPOUSE"]|0,@.today)^/[ANS%0,"PPBDAYCAL
C"]|0)

IFE=^#

When I try to use this in 6.x, I get an error stating:

"Illegal use of #" Magic syntax in expression IFE

This is obviously referencing the second line.

Does anyone know what the 6.x equivalent is? What exactly does 'IFE=^#'
mean anyway?

I can't find any reference to what this is doing. And it doesn't work if
I try to remove the second line completely.

Also no help that I can find from the Knowledge Base..

Any help greatly appreciated.. THANKS!
