Hello
A couple of V2 allergy questions (our facility
is Magic 5.63- going to 5.64 this fall):
1) The conversion was run in TEST. For most of the
drug allergies there is, on page 1 (Coded Allergy
Data) and for the associated drug data, either an
allergen group or cross-sensitivity, but the Drug
Ingredient is not listed. The screening still takes
place based on the group or cross-sensitivity,
but should not every drug also have the drug ingredient
listed as well? These seem to be few and far between.
2) The UNOBT works in the pharmacy module- an allergy
of UNK is listed. However, when the UNOBT button is used
via the EMAR or status board, the allergy screen pops up
for the user to enter an allergy. Is there something we
are missing?
Thanks
