I think taking Math 54 before 53 is not a bad thing because <br> the two courses do not act like prereq's to each other.

I agree with the above students. Where I saw a concept or two that <br> translated from 53, the same could be said the other way around I think. I <br> know a bunch of people who took both at the same time.
