Good Morning,

With spring literally just around the corner, I thought I'd share some personal goals with you. My photo collection lacks just four Massachusetts endemics:

Persius Duskywing
Oak Hairstreak
Hickory Hairstreak
Dion Skipper

I'd like to "bag" these four this year and would appreciate being informed of any sightings. Of course, I'll be on the suitable counts / field trips, but none of these species [except maybe the hickory] is common enough to be counted upon via the scheduled trip route. Have camera, will travel.

For those of you who haven't checked the MBC website recently, I urge you to do so. The club has an outstanding roster of activities in prospect. Our photo page has been updated - no more "blanks". There is at least one photo of every Massachusetts species [though we occasionally "cheated', using pictures taken out of state to fill in the blanks], so this is now a comprehensive ID resource.

See you in the field very soon!

Cheers,
Frank

I Love all the photos that members have presented. The Massbutterflies site is a feast for the eyes, especially on a gray cold day. Thanks to all who have made this resource possible. Pam
