I saw my first, and so far only, West Virginia White this afternoon briefly inspecting some Spring Beauties near my driveway.  I have been afraid that two recent frosts might have done them in, so it was nice to see at least one survived.

A single West Virginia White stopped on a trout lily in back of my house this afternoon.
