All,

Here are the updated packages:
1. Macfusion plugin to support Universal binary and MacFuse 1.1.1 and
1.1.0.
2. EncFS for Leopard support Universal binary and MacFuse 1.1.1.
3. EncFS FileVault replacement also supports Universal binary and
packages for Tiger and Leopard.

EncFS for Tiger with Universal binary and MacFuse 1.1.0 support will
be posted in a day or so. Once its posted you can use the EncFSVault
on Tiger.

Please note I do not have a PPC system to test on so the Universal
binary builds are very alpha.

The Tiger version on Encfs with support for Universal binary and
MacFuse 1.1.0 support has been posted.

If you running the macports version that is not compatible with the
newer MacFuse you must uninstall it. "sudo port uninstall encfs"

HAHA, Well, you can ignore the previous message I posted... I got it
to work by uninstalling, and reinstalling a few times and rebooting a
few more... odd, but it works now, YAY. Thank you!

Thats good news. The "encfs not found" message means it was not in /
opt/local/bin or /usr/local/bin. I suspect the Encfs package was not
installed or was removed. Since the MacFusion plugin does not
actuality contain the Encfs program you got the not found error
message until you installed the Encfs package.

I'm interested in using encFS to encrypt a handful of directories on
my PPC running Tiger. I downloaded and installed MacFUSE-
Core-10.4-1.1.0, MacFusion 1.2 Beta 3, and EncFS-10.4-2.0.0 and
installed without problems. I'm not interested in full FileVault
functionality, so I skipped the encfsvault download. Never installed
via darwin/macports.

I can run encfs from the command line and it works as expected
(although there is no man page and every iteration of adding options
to change the volume name fails). But the encfs.plugin is nowhere to
be found and is subsequently not loaded into MacFusion. The MacFusion
log shows:

MacFusion Core: Untested MacFuse version 1.1.0 detected, not warning
user
MacFusion Core: Loaded FTPFS filesystem from
org.mgorbach.MacFusion.FTPFS
MacFusion Core: Loaded SSHFS filesystem from
org.mgorbach.MacFusion.SSHFS

So 2 little issues
1) how do I get the man pages loaded
2) where is the encfs.plugin

I've got more questions, but I need to spend a little more time
searching for answers myself.

Thanks

Figured out the man page issue. I located encfs.1 and encfsctl.1 in /
usr/local/share/man and they should be in /usr/local/share/man/man1.
Got the proper result for "man encfs" after the move.

And now all my issues are resolved. I didn't see the link for
EncFS.Fusion-0.4.5 - or maybe I did but quickly looked at the next
column and only saw Leopard instead of Tiger or Leopard.

I will now sit down and be quiet.
