We need a place for people to suggestion filesystems for inclusion into MacFusion as plugins. Currently, SSHFS is available. CurlFTPFS is coming soon, as soon as some optimizations having to do with the finder and FTP are completed. There may also be another developer working on EncFS and/or CryptoFS support. What other filesystems would you like to see?

Hi,
I just wrote a small patch adding Keychain support to WDFS. I haven't tested whether it performs better than Apple's davfs, but I have a feeling it might :)
Any suggestions for a victim filesystem for hacking at?

WDFS support would be really nice. First, it would be necessary to create a static binary of the filesystem where all libraries not on OSX by default are statically linked. Next, we'd need to write the GUI plugins for it to MacFusion. This would be very similar to the code of SSHFS and so shouldn't be very hard. If you'd like to work on something else: I'd like to see some python filesystems such as gmailfs.
