Hi Scott, 

I can't make it tomorrow, but I want to check that this ride is indeed still open: I thought this was part of the area now closed and patrolled by the Marines?  I would be HAPPY to hear that it's still available for riding!

I ride M.T. everyday since i live across the street and yes most parts north of the 52 are patrolled by Marines/Private Security. I do most of my riding early 6am or later in 5p/night to avoid. On the weekends between 9a/late afternoon your  more likely to see them depending on what part of Oak/Spring your on. If you ride stay off the ridges and avoid going to end of Oak or Spring near MCAS flight line / firing range.
