Hi Folks,

I took Dohn up on his offer to sell a Mobo setup, so I could try to recreate my former Mobo.  I had sent the latter off to our friend Larry Yaw because my old Mobo was somehow blowing the I/O chip, keeping it from properly controlling my LP filter board, and he thought he could clear up the likely ground loops causing the problem.  He has had that Mobo for over a year now.  I do believe he has significant health problems.  Sadly, I have been unable to reach Larry, either by telephone or email.  I hope he is still alive.

Thus, I have decided to build another Mobo to replace the one I can't get back.  

This time, though, I may just use a manually switched LP filter to eliminate the I/O problem.

I spoke to Larry about 3 weeks ago, and he literally just came out of the hospital after surgery don't think he is doing very well

Reason I called w as that he has a couple oft things as well
We should fine an easy solution to help him send our things back because I'm not sure he is capable
Maybe a local ham to help him sort and send?
