The Department of Pediatrics, Divisions of Biomedical Informatics and
Neurology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, University
of Cincinnati has an immediate opening for a research scientist or
post-doctoral fellow. Research efforts will focus on the development,
application, and evaluation of novel linguistic methods in both the
neurological clinical and administrative settings.

The ideal candidate will have training in computational linguistics,
natural language processing, or related disciplines. A thorough
knowledge of machine learning, computer science and mathematics is
required. Priority will be given to applicants with a proficiency in
multiple computer languages (Perl, PHP, Java or JavaScript, etc) and
relational databases as well as the ability to capitalize available
open-source resources. A PhD (or Ph.D. candidate), MD or other
advanced degree is required.
