Subject: Kernel panic on slackware

Hi, I am trying to run slackware off of a external 60Gb Seagate Hd. The
installation goes fine but when I attempt to boot it checks the BIOS
successfully but after a few lines of booting it stops and reports a kernel
panic. If you have any suggestions or answers please reply. thanks
