I do have some of this in the annual census, but it's not

 Hello everyone,
My name is Ivan. I'm a librarian from the Public Libraries Singapore
and a long-time lurker in this list. I'd like to share our recent
Gaming experience. It was a preview session, where we "live" tested
the session by issuing a public call for volunteers. Details are at my
personal library-related blog:

Even though I am morally opposed to responding to a post by someone
who gets to live in a beautiful country like Italy while I live in the
land of strip malls and chain stores, it is great to hear about
library gaming programs outside of the U.S.! When do we have our first
international Wii tournament?

 Greetings!
On my last episode of Board Games with Scott, I talked about the new
game, Castle Panic. This is a tower defense, semi-cooperative board
game. It's easy to learn, fast-paced, and plays 1-6 players as people
work together to defend the castle from the waves of baddies.
This is great for a more complex bait game that would draw over your

I didn't know there were libraries out there using steam. How does
that work? Do you know, do they use the cyber cafe option?

I played Trine on steam when it was a free trial. It's a fun little
puzzle platformer. It's got a good metascore, too.

I do not know if anyone has posted about the game Trine yet but I just
found out about it myself even though it has been out since July.
This game would be great for in library use for anyone using steam or
a PS3 for patron gaming. The game has a spectacular physics engine
beautiful graphics 3 player mode.
