Hi fellow collective members,

We had a scheduling miscommunication with our guest Pnina Werbner, a
scholar who's in town to give a talk on a strike last year in
Botswana. The time we had planned this weekend fell through. She can
be available for an interview Monday morning, but the trouble is I am
in Bend and Angela is working at that time. I can call and conduct
the interview by phone, but I need someone to be in the KBOO studio to
meet Pnina, call me on the phone line, and run the sound board.

Is any of you free to help me out sometime Monday morning? This would
only take about a half-hour.

Al,
Though I'm no good with the sound board, I do have an edirol (small portable
recorder). If the in-studio plan doesn't come together, maybe I could meet
Pnina and/or Angela somewhere convenient and get the interview recorded that
way, then put it on a CD to leave at KBOO for you two to edit, etc.

Thanks for replying, John!  But I got ahold of Jamie and he graciously agreed to help me record the show.  Whew!
