TIME FLIES
As years go by, time moves faster-or so it seems! And May 19th is just around the corner. That’s when we pull out all the stops at Lake Country Jubilee and present not just one-or two-but three of America’s finest gospel groups!! We’ll be presenting the Collingsworth Family, Triumphant Quartet, and Wilburn & Wilburn. As you know, the Collingsworth Family is rapidly becoming the most popular “family” group in gospel music. If Kim just played the piano, it would be worth the trip! And, Triumphant Quartet is now established as the #1 Fan Favorite Male Quartet!! They’re turning out hit after hit that are thrilling fans coast to coast. Add our old friend Jonathan Wilburn, and son Jordan, to the mix, and it just doesn’t get any better. Tickets are still available. For your convenience, we already have them in our 6 ticket outlets. Thanks to those who are already ordering tickets early. It really does help us cope just before the concert. We’re delighted to report we’ve already sent tickets to fans as far away as Gulfport Mississippi. And several “new churches” will be coming. It’s a simple fact: There is no “major Metroplex radio” source for 24/7 gospel music. That’s not likely to change within the foreseeable future. We view this as an opportunity. The internet is becoming much more stable, and available, through an expanding universe of sources such as computers, iphones, ipads, laptops, “bluetooth” and “Sync” in cars. “Hot Spots” (Wi Fi) are now available in most homes and businesses, saving on your “data plan.” It’s, now, almost impossible to find a spot where the internet isn’t available. For 15 years, Lake Country Productions has re-broadcast our radio programs 24/7 on the internet. But, the technology and equipment we were using became “out of date” and un-reliable. Recently we decided to make a new start with all new “state of the art” equipment and technology. You’ll notice the difference instantly. The programming is “newer”- there’s no “long pauses” when the program changes- the sound is “cleaner,” you hear the “complete” program, as recorded, commercial free. (Commercials will be added later between the programs) We’ve spent about 45 days removing the old equipment, installing and de-bugging the new equipment, and software.
