I have the questions for you Knowledge Persons.
The reason is to understand most accessible way to learn and apply
knowledge.
If you deal with knowledge to apply by you and your colleagues,
customers, etc., what ways do you prefer:
1. Reading articles, how-to > reading definitions > applying defined
knowledge;
2. Reading definition > reading articles, how-to (if needed) > applying
defined knowledge?
If you prefer (1):
- does it mean that the definitions isn't clear?
- it's because of educational tradition - to read classics first, to
attend classrooms, listen to lectures, etc.?
Maybe you can add the additional ways? Start a new topic, if needed.

Lifetime is limited and normal definitions are good both for sellers
and customers to save their lifetime. When I buy new cell phone I read
its technical definition first (a few lines of text), then I decide to
buy or ask the seller, or can go and read more about the fundamentals
of bluetuth, if I need it (but I don't need these fundamentals to
operate the phone - name me the primitive customer).
What is your option?
The same is in consulting business, I think - a few phrases about
possible solution in reply on the client's problem. If it will be
accepted, an agreement becomes a natural next step. Or maybe you will
ask him to read your articles first?
