June Happy Stitching Hour*

Come to the next Happy Hour on* Friday, June 5, from 5 to 7 pm*.  Join us
for this social knitting/crochet time, meet some new people, re-connect with
others, and just hang out. We’ll chat, knit, crochet, gossip, stitch, wind
down after the long work week, and shop this month’s Happy Hour Sale! We
will not be offering any knitting instructions or help, just a knitting
visit…. The event is free. First come first serve. We have seats for
approximately 15 people. Feel free to bring a snack or drinks to share!

*Fair Isle Club*

Come join the Fair Isle Club!

We are pleased to announce the start of our new Fair Isle Club!  A
non-refundable $20 annual fee allows you to join our monthly meeting
from *5:00-7:00pm
on the third Friday of every month starting in June*.  Members will knit and
chat, while also being able to buy skeins of the gorgeous *Jamieson's
Spindrift, and the ever-popular Dale of Norway Baby Ull, Falk, and Heilo at
15% off*.  The discount will only be available for these specific yarns and
only during the hours of the Fair Isle Club meetings.

Your hostess, Jessica Drennan, will bring in interesting items and books
pertinent to stranded knitting.  The Club is open to recent fair isle
knitters, as well as advanced knitters. Knitters interested in learning fair
isle knitting are recommended to join one of the beginner fair isle classes
Jessica teaches periodically.  The Fair Isle Club is a great way for those
who love Fair Isle knitting and other kinds of stranded knitting to meet
like-minded souls, show off their projects, and learn more about this
wonderful form of knitting!

*Sock Club*

Our new Sock Club welcomes all sock knitters.  A non-refundable $25 annual
fee allows you to join our monthly meeting from *5:00 to 7:00 pm on the
second Friday of every month starting in July.*  During each month's
meeting, members can purchase *any one 100g ball or two 50g balls of sock
yarn (enough to make one adult pair) at 15% off*.

Susan Mehringer will host these monthly meetings.  The Club welcomes all
sock knitters who knit 1 pair a year or 1 pair a week (although we suspect
that number will go up significantly with the discounted sock yarn you can
buy every month).  A sock yarn and pattern will be featured at each month's
meeting.  We'll exchange sock knitting tips and other great patterns members
have come across, show off our beautiful socks, and we'll sit and knit
socks!
