Kick Butt Blues is back this Friday with DJs Rachel "DJ Bluray" Jordan and Patrick “dj st. patrick” Warren. Always a great time to be had dancing and socializing your Friday night away. Come join us for the dancing and the music and be sure to pick up one of your very own Kick Butt Blues t-shirts.

Starting in April, Kick Butt Blues will now be held every Friday. No need to wonder if we are having the dance this week; we are.
Along with those changes, we have worked with the owner of Kick Butt Coffee on a plan that will allow us to bring in more live bands. Plus we are going to be bringing you more opportunities to improve your dancing through workshops. We will update you as details become available.

Join us for a special blues weekend! We're bringing in the fabulous Lucky Skillen from New York City for a great day of classes, a live band on Friday night, and our favorite DJs for Saturday night!
Lucky Skillen has been swing dancing since 1996 and teaching since 1998. Since that time he has taught and performed a wide variety of dances in Asia, Europe, and North America. He has also had the privilege of working with such people as Neil Young, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Katy Holms, and Frankie Manning. Lucky teaches a wide variety of classes. In these classes he creates a fun and playful environment. He believes that play is learning and learning is fun. Lucky offers a unique insight into technique, connection and the use of momentum due to the many forms of dance he has studied. Most of Lucky's classes are concept based. They consist of a short choreography to illustrate several different movements. He then leads the students to discover the concepts behind the movements to make them work. Lucky believes in a path of self discovery in dance. He would like for all of his students to become their own teachers and find their own truths in dance.

Only $40 in advance for 5 hours of class and 2 nights of dancing! ($35 students, Prices go up by $10 at the door)
Includes admission to both dances on Friday and Saturday nights!
Pay online with a credit card or PayPal account, or pay cash or check in person at any of the Kick Butt Blues dances or Campbell and Chris' classes in April.
Housing
For all you out-of-towners, we will help you find local dancers to stay with for the weekend! You can request housing when you register.
Private Lessons
We highly recommend you take a private lesson with Lucky while he's here! We try to take privates from instructors when we travel, and we're making it easy by bringing Lucky to you! Email in...@campbellandchris.com for rates and availability.
