The next Agile KC meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, 2009
at 6:30 PM at the Pizza Shoppe on 95th street. (See the Agile KC web
site at www.agilekc.org if you need a map.)

The topic for the meeting is:Why Kanban? An Introduction to Kanban
and Lean Software Development

Troy Tuttle will provide a basic background on Lean Thought and how
those principles form the foundation for Kanban for software
development. Focusing on Lean Practices and Kanban in particular are
getting a lot of focus in the agile community of late. Join us to get
a feel for what is involved and how the process works.

Troy Tuttle is a developer, a Pragmatic Agilist, and a Kanban
practitioner, with a decade of experience in the software development
industry. He has worked in the Agile space since 2005, with emphasis
in continuous integration, automated testing (TDD/BDD), improving
software design and code quality, and improving the condition and
effectiveness of software projects. He currently works as a Project
Lead Consultant with AdventureTech Group in Kansas City.

Hope to see you there!
