Subject: Struts 2 on WebSphere 6.1

I'm trying to connect a client with a WAS Admin who is running Struts 2
with Spring on WAS 6.1.  One of my clients is trying to deploy its first
Struts 2 application on WebSphere 6.1. It runs perfectly on Tomcat 5.5.  The
application deploys successfully to WAS 6.1; however, when they attempt to
call an action they get a 404 with the message "There is no Action mapped
for namespace / and action name . - [unknown location]."  In the message,
the namespace and action are missing.  It is as if the complete URL does not
make it from the WebSphere filter manager down into to the Struts 2
dispatcher filter.  WAS 6.1 is fully patched, and
com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.invokefilterscompatibility is set to true.  We have
tried Struts 2.1.2, 2.1.3 snapshot, and 2.1.6.
If you are running Struts 2 with Spring on WAS 6.1 and are able to help my
client's WebSphere Admin get this figured out, lunch is on me! It may simply
help to know others are successfully running this software stack. Call me
anytime to discuss this further.
