We are pleased to announce that the application process for our Summer 2008 Internship Program is now open. These paid internships are with the US Agency for International Development's Global Health Bureau in Washington, DC. We are seeking outstanding students and mid-career changers who are interested in pursuing careers in international development. These openings are an excellent opportunity to engage in substantive work with the largest government donor organization in the development field. We are also seeking to attract a diverse, talented group of individuals that will benefit USAID's Global Health Bureau as it moves into the future.
Currently there are 11 internship opportunities in these Global Health Bureau offices:
* Office of Health, Infectious Diseases and Nutrition
* Office of HIV/AIDS
* Office of Population and Reproductive Health
* Office of Professional Development and Management Support
The application deadline is February 15, 2008 and the internships will run for approximately 10 weeks beginning May 27, 2008.
