Hi,

I want to look for a string across all the rows in all the records of
my MV database.

Knowing something about Cache, I know I can do an ^%GCHANGE or
equivalent to search through the underlying globals, and I know the
SMP has a FIND link for searching in globals.

Is there, however, a command similar to ESEARCH in UNIDATA I can use
at the TCL prompt ?

thanks

Steve

Use the SEARCH command

SEARCH BP *

It will prompt for the search strings
