Hi all,
I’ve missed conversing with all of you since I’m not working directly with MV any more. HR at Solstas sent me an email late yesterday wondering if I knew anyone who was looking for a new job. M/COS is a must since (sadly!) this isn’t an MV shop. The up-side is it’s still Cache. Relo is possible for the right candidate.
While I do miss my friends at World Information, I will say that Solstas is a fine place to work. It’s a very pleasant atmosphere and the people are all friendly. There is a lot of work being turned out, so the day goes fairly quickly. The pay is fair and commensurate, and the benefits are excellent.
If any of you knows someone who’d like to live and work in central NC, please let me know so I can get them hooked up with HR.

I passed your email on to HR. They’re going to look for candidates themselves for a limited time before they farm it out. There are Caché installations and Caché people around in central NC, but getting the two hooked up seems to be a bit of a challenge. (It took me a year to find and get into Solstas; there y’go!). I have the idea it’s going to be a pretty exciting couple of years as they expand. With a bit of luck, we’ll get to a reasonably modern version of Caché where we can really stretch.
