Riders,

You should have received the email below today (keep in mind you can’t register until your conference director has marked you as qualified), but in addition to the information there, please be aware that we’ve set up a google doc for room and ride shares if you are looking to save money on transportation and lodging in Ogden. Whether you have an extra space or need one, it can’t hurt to make note of it on the google doc. http://bit.ly/collnatsrideroomshares I hope to see many of you at nationals.

Female riders, don’t forget that we have TWO pro-ride opportunities this year:

1.     The Primal women’s racing team is offering the top amateur D1 and top amateur D2 rider in the criteriums the chance to race with them at the Tulsa Tough this year.

2.     Once again the Nature Valley Grand Prix is hosting the top three amateur women of each division in the overall omnium the opportunity to race on the Collegiate All-Starts team.

Both of these opportunities are detailed in the tech guide at on the event page: http://www.usacycling.org/2013/collegiate-road-nationals

Time to register for Collegiate Road Nationals!

Dear Collegiate Cyclist:

Hundreds of collegiate cyclists are getting ready to return to Ogden, Utah for the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships, May 3-5, where 18 national titles will be up for grabs, including the inaugural individual time trial on Antelope Island.

Will you be one of them?

Online registration will close at 11:59 p.m. EDT on April 30. The cost is $50 per event if you register online, but if you wait until you're onsite to register you'll pay $70 per event.

So what are you waiting for? Qualified riders can register now.

Qualification Information

In order to register, each collegiate rider must be marked as qualified by his or her conference director, indicating that the rider has participated in his or her conference season, and earned one of the conference’s start spots. Information on this process can be found here. If you are unable to register, please contact your Conference Director. Contact information can be found here.

Banquet and Team Leaders' Forum

In addition to the great racing, following the conclusion of the criteriums on Saturday evening, a luxurious all-you-can-eat buffet dinner will be held at the beautiful Summit Hotel Grand Ballroom to celebrate the 2013 USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships and the winners determined so far. The banquet will feature guest speakers, games, PRIZES, and a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT of the 2014 USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships location and courses!  So don’t miss out!

Additionally, USA Cycling will be hosting a special team leaders’ forum after the individual time trials to educate and share ideas about recruitment, retention, sponsorship, fundraising, and many more topics critical to a team’s success. Registration for the event is free, but seating is limited to 40 current and future team leaders, so reserve your seat when you register for your races!
