Dear All -

There will be a SWF II telephone conference on *Decemenber 19th at the
newly proposed time of 3:00 PM USA Central Standard Time*. Our initial
invitation to participate included delagates from Japan, Europe, USA
West Coast, and USA East Coast. Please consider that there is no good
time to accomodate all. But every effort will be to ensure that you
can participate. An alternate time is 7:00 AM USA CST.

*Please RSVP to this email* in advance if you
are planning to participate in this development. I have several
responses already. Also, indicate if you can accomodate the proposed
time or not. Please also indicate if you can accomodate the alternate
time and which would be your preference. If neither time works, please
indicate a time-frame that is more preferrable. *I will need your input
on the timing no later that end of business this week so that the final
time can be set.*

There are two scheduled workflow profiles under development this cycle;
Mammography Acquisition Workflow and Scheduled Workflow II.
Mammography Acquisition Workflow scope is described in better detail @
http://wiki.ihe.net/index.php?title=Mammography_Acquisition_Workflow_Informative_Text_Development-_Work_Page.
Scheduled Workflow II scope is described @
http://wiki.ihe.net/index.php?title=Scheduled_Workflow_II_-_Work_Page.
This Conference is specifically meant to cover Scheduled Workflow II.

The initial plan is to break the development into two separate tracks;
clinical and technical. Clinical track will initially focus on the use
case development. Whereas the technical track will focus on the
technology roadmap.
The initial technology roadmap will focus on HL-7 communications as they
relate to Radiology specifically, and the Enterprise as it needs to
interact with Radiology.

The first meeting will be technical cover only the technical track. The
agenda is:

1) Introductions: All
2) Scope Review and Discussion (/Patient Registration/Order Management
and potentially Order Completion/)
3) Review current HL-7 Versions implemented in the field today (/based
upon your input/)
4) Review gaps that are not being addressed with SWF today (/In the
areas of Patient Registration and Orders Management/)
5) Review gaps that are not being met with the current HL-7 version
implementations
6) Review HL-7 Version readinesss for 2009 deployment
7) Next Steps - Technical follow-up meeting(s) and action items

In advance of this meeting, please provide the following information as
an addition on the wiki
(http://wiki.ihe.net/index.php?title=Scheduled_Workflow_II_-_Work_Page in
the area titled Deployed HL7 Technologies via Company) or replying with
your comments to this email :

2) Your identification of gaps that are not being addressed with SWF

version implementations
4) Your assessment of HL-7 Version readinesss for 2009 deployment of
your products

consideration in SWF II. A template will be sent in advance.
