Subject: How do I report spam docs?
I receive lots of spam that link to Google Docs documents, which in
turn link to the actual spam site. Examples
http://docs.google.com/View?id=df7878d8_0fgg5dvc9
http://docs.google.com/View?id=dhf9zx4g_0hshscgc8
http://docs.google.com/View?id=dcrxrbgg_0d3nqzfc2
http://docs.google.com/View?id=ddjvkn8x_3hrr9svc5

These pages have a little 'Report Abuse' button at the bottom, which
so far I have clicked for every Google Docs spam document I have
recieved. (The button turns into 'Thank You!' after clicking.)

I have checked some of the documents that I have reported a week ago,
but they are still there. My question(s):
* does that report mechanism actually work?
* if yes, does anybody check these reports and take action?

Thanks!

I'd like to know that too! I really want to believe the Google Docs
Guides are taking action, but this may have low priority compared to
the more technical problems encountered in Google Docs.

This seems to be intermittent.  I also reported a large number of
these "docs".  It took a few days, but not those URL's are showing as
"you do not have permission to view this document", which I assume
means it's been taken down.

I do wonder if the "owner" of these documents can see who is visiting
them.  That would be BAD.

Finally, the "report abuse" button sometimes works, and sometimes
doesn't.  Weird.

<<I do wonder if the "owner" of these documents can see who is
visiting them.  That would be BAD.>> I fear they may be able to - I
can certainly see the people who view my CSS layout document (quite
legitimately).

Do you actually get Gdocs invites to these spam docs, and see them in
your docs list, or are these emailspams? Either way they're bad.
