Will Hindus never learn from history?

Inspired by India's spineless response to continuous terrorist attacks, on 29th October, 2005 during Diwali festivities in New Delhi, Pakistan sponsored terrorists exploded the bombs in busy market places killing at least 71 persons and injuring hundreds of others. Earlier on 10th October 2005, terrorists had massacred 10 Hindus in Rajouri District to evict Hindus from Jammu region after making Kashmir a Hindu-less region.
And before that terrorists had attacked Ayodhya in July, 2005. And Indian Parliament was attacked in 2001.
During 1980s and 1990s, Pak- sponsored terrorists killed thousands of Hindus in Kashmir forcing several lakhs of terrorized Hindus to flee from Kashmir. And now Kashmir is a Hindu-less region.
And Pak-trained terrorists are attacking security forces in Kashmir every day.
And instead of punishing Pakistan for all this, Indian government has a standing policy of denial and inaction against terror; and is content with the ritual sounding of red alert after each terrorist strike.
All these terrorist attacks are not isolated incidents; these are a part of a long line of attacks Hindus have suffered since Muhammad bin Qasim's Arab army attacked Indian sub-continent in 711.
Worst victim of terror
India is the worst victim of terror in the world.
Starting with a zero Muslim population, Indian sub-continent including the present day India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan and even a part of Iran was Hindu land till Muhammad bin Qasim's Arab army attacked Sind in 711.
Since Hindus never learnt any lesson from history, and repeated the same mistakes year after year, they faced repeated Muslim invasions for over a thousand years; and lost Afghanistan in 987 and Pakistan in 1947. And though Hindus fought bravely to defend their religion and motherland, they suffered the loss of millions of lives and plunder and destruction of thousands of temples during the repeated terrorist attacks over the centuries.
Unfortunately, India has been repeating the same blunders even after 1947 which are responsible for the present ignoble mess.
And India's refusal to learn from history has brought Pak-Bangla sponsored terrorist attacks as also crores of Pak-Bangla infiltrators threatening to create one more Islamic country on Indian soil.
American response to terror
After the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack which demolished Twin Towers in New York and killed about 3000 persons, USA has taken preventive measures to prevent such attacks in future. There is no denial of the said terrorist attack. Any visitor to New York can see the American determination to defeat terror as is obvious from the following commemorative plaque put up where Twin Towers once stood and where re-building work is going on:-
"On this site on August 21, 2002, Governor George E. Pataki of New York and Governor James E. McGreevey of New Jersey and Mayor M.B. Bloomberg of New York city proclaimed that in honor of the heroes of September 11, 2001, this viewing wall would be erected by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey so that the world community can reflect upon and remember the events that took place here, and draw strength and inspiration as we rebuild.

And British government has also taken the terrorist attack in London on July 7, 2005 equally seriously; and taken effective measures to prevent such attacks in future.
Hindus have forgotten history
Unlike what USA has done post September 11, 2001, Hindus have forgotten continued terrorist attacks spanning over a thousand years since 711.
In his book " The Story of Civilization: Our Oriental Heritage ", Will Durant (1885-1981), the American historian calls Muslim rule in India as the bloodiest story in history.
After Muslim rule, India was under the British Empire from 1857 to 1947. Muslim League was formed in 1906. Muslim League demanded Pakistan for Muslims in March, 1940, and got it in 1947.
Immediately after Muslim League demanded Pakistan in March, 1940, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (1891-1956) wrote "Thoughts on Pakistan" in 1940 wherein he described the atrocities committed on Hindus by various Muslim invaders and rulers including Muhammad bin Qasim, Mahmud of Ghazni, Muhammad Ghouri, Qutb-ud-Din Aibak, Allauddin Khilji, Taimur, Babar, Nadirshah, Ahmadshah Abdalli, and Aurangzeb. In the said book, Dr. Ambedkar has explained how Muslim invasions were accompanied with destruction of temples and forced conversions, plunder, slaughter of innocents, enslavement and abasement of men, women and children.
Besides, during large periods of Muslim rule, Hindus had to pay Jaziya, the tax levied on non-Muslims.
Plight of Hindus is miserable in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh, which used to be Hindu lands. At present, just five thousand Hindus and Sikhs are left in Afghanistan. Besides, though Hindus accounted for 24 per cent of Pakistan's population in 1947; now number just one per cent. In Bangladesh, Hindus numbered 30 per cent in 1947; but now number eight per cent. However, in India, present percentage of Muslim population is much higher than that in 1947.
Hindus have forgotten the mountain range named "Hindu Kush" literally meaning 'Hindu Killer', associated with Hindu genocide in Afghanistan.
As recorded by Abul Fazl, Akbar's chronicler, even the much acclaimed Akbar the Great, slaughtered over 30,000 unarmed Hindu peasants after Chittour fell in 1568. Other Muslim rulers' court historians have recorded much worse atrocities committed against Hindus.
Falsifying history
As per George Santayana (1863-1952), the American philosopher, "Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it".
Unfortunately in India, apart from being forgotten, history is also being falsified by some sections to paint a rosy picture of Muslim rule in India, and to ignore heroic Hindu resistance to Muslim invaders.
As against the facts mentioned above, Indian textbooks issued by NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) and written by Leftists glorify Muslim rule in India; and downgrade Hindu heroes like Prithviraj Chauhan, Maharana Pratap and Chhatrapati Shiva Ji. These books falsify history and denigrate Hinduism. As per the said books, Ramayana and Mahabharat are mere fictions; and Ram and Krishna did not exist. As per these writings, Prithviraj Chauhan was timid whereas Jai Chand was a hero.
Though Indian history echoes with blood and terror, no effort to learn from history and prevent future terrorist attacks is made. Rather, there are misconceived attempts to forget and falsify history.
Do not invite invaders
How much more has India to lose before the aggressors will be confronted? India has never faced a worse aggression as at present. And India has never been worse prepared to face aggression as at present.
Instead of deporting terrorists and crores of Pak Bangla infiltrators, and curbing their daily influx, Indian government is easing visa restrictions and opening Line of Control (Kashmir border) which has given a further invitation to terrorists and infiltrators to walk into India to attack security forces, to kill innocents and to blow up temples.
It must be remembered that the unanimous February 22, 1994 Resolution of Indian Parliament declares Jammu & Kashmir an integral part of India and demands vacation of Pak-occupied Kashmir.
Accordingly, any Indian talk of an "open mind" or "flexible approach" regarding Jammu and Kashmir violates the said unanimous Parliamentary resolution.
Alternative to disaster
Present government policy of drift, denial and deception is leading to gradual Pak-Bangla take-over of India. Since fake secularism cannot save India, nationalist forces have to force the government to seal the borders, defend the nation; and stop surrendering before India's tormentors.
The Supreme Court's judgement delivered on July 12, 2005, and relating to Sarbananda Sonowal's petition, and The Foreigners Act, 1946 must be implemented all over India to deport crores of Pak-Bangla infiltrators threatening the creation of one more Islamic country on Indian soil.
Drastic situations demand drastic remedies. Suicidal peace talks and confidence building measures like Indo-Pak and Indo-Bangla bus and rail journeys must be discarded. Instead, India has to immediately smash all terrorist networks in Pakistan and Bangladesh; and if necessary, launch a war with these nations to make them see reason.
There is no softer option which can save India from disaster.
India has already shrunk. Let there be no further shrinking of India. If driven out of India, Hindus will have no where else to go.

to be proud of being a Hindu. Anti-secularims wud arise when i start
fighting with other religions without being provoked. But if provoked,
as a natural instinct for survival, I'll fight back.
Arora haqs rightly pointed out that we are shrinking. Looking at the
real map of India, it looks headless, with lands surrendered to China
and Pakistan. An empire that once stretched from Afghanistan to
Indonesia, being reduced in a few hunreds years, is a sad plight.
Solution is not to conquer back, atleast retain whatever is left.
No doubt, that Bangla infiltrators will demand for a separate state or
country after gaining majority. Islamic fundamentalist always create
problem whenever they start reaching 20%. E.g.: France riots are by
Muslims immigrants. But media wants to be politically correct by saying
'youths'. Some people say it is due to their poor economic conditions.
But is French Govt to be blamed for their poverty. They are much better
of in France than their barbaric African countries. Moreover, Western
countries are more of Capitalist than racialist. Why not talk of scores
of immigrants who became well of after coming to West. Why blame a
free-govt for their plight. Muslims in India are also blaming Govt for
their poverty. Some of these muslims, can elevate their economical
staus by using Common sense. What's the need to have 7 children when
you cannot afford more than 2? In the developing World, modern
education secures job, not religious education in Madrassas.
When will our media also refrain from being pseudo secularist? If
Muslims torch up a train killing innocent women & children due to
religious incitement, it is reported as done by 'mob'. When the
retaliation starts, it is 'Hindu Mob' killing 'minorities'. Why this
double standards? When Kashmir has been ethincally been cleansed of
Hindus, media does not do much. It is the tolerance of Hinudism that
for every Islamic extremism, we do not retaliate.
Time for pseudo secular Indian govt, interested in appeasing vote
banks, to go. Time to have an fair govt. Some of the issue to be
resolved before India can be truly secular:
1. Equal Laws for all. Why are Muslims subject to Islamic personal law
in matter of Marriage & divorce? 4 marriages, instant talaq, etc. So,
why not subject them to Islamic punishment also, such as chopping hands
for theft, stoning to death for adultery...
2. No tolerance for religious extremism, even if done by minority. Why
is that one Hindu making religious remarks is branded as fanatic in
national headlines. VHP is branded as fanatic. But what about scores of
Muslim organisations such as SIMI, etc which are militant. Atleast
never heard of VHP causing bomb blasts.
3. Transparent Media. I am amused at the 'political correct' nature of
media, not only in India but West. Whenever Muslims do attrocities or
foment hateful statements, media goes blind, or reports as 'mob'. But
any small thing by non-muslim is blown out of shape. Slowly, media in
West is getting to senses. When will indian media see the truth?
Arora has asked the right question: When will we learn from our past?
Best example of this is Zoarashtrian community. Parsis were killed from
Middle East, no they are an extinct species, with very handful left in
India. Do we want to share the fate of Parsis?
