Newbie Questions - Where can I find an object schema for WorldVista

I am new to WorldVista and hope someone can help. Is there an object
schema document that maps the routine names with their functions?
Also, am I correct in assuming that all processing logic is at the M
level; that is, do the routines contain all rules, etc for patient
entry and therefore the front end is merely a presentation layer?

Welcome to WorldVistA. You will find that like most sophisticated
systems: Unix/Linux and Windows that have been in actual use for a
very long time, there are archeological layers that date back into the
mists of time. You can see UI and design schemes from the 70's to
modern times and nearly every major idea represented throughout
present in some layers but not others. As David Whitten says that the
answer to most questions regarding VistA is 'yes and no'. The major
strength of VistA is its robustness, breadth, depth and that it
probably has the functionality you want in it somewhere. Major
weaknesses are that it may not have what you want in the UI and style
that you'd like but then again that is an opportunity for someone. --
