There comes a time when you just have to publish....

I have just pushed the button to upload our latest TMG-CPRS that
allows editing of notes in WYSIWYG HTML. This means bold, italic,
underlining, different fonts and font sizes etc.

If all goes as planned, it can be downloaded here:
https://trac.opensourcevista.net/browser/cprs/branches/tmg-cprs

There are no additional server patches beyond what has previously been
required.

Features (including older additions):
--HTML viewing
--HTML Editing
--Add a patient,
--Edit patient demographics
Simple page
Advanced page (allows editing of all fields in PATIENT file)
--Multilingual support
--Colored tabs
--User-customizable splash screen image

Let the testing begin.
Yes there are likely bugs, and I have some ideas for additional
features. And a manual needs to be written.

Let me know what you guys think.

Oops, I'm sitting at Eddie's computer. Didn't realize I was logged in
automatically as him. But it's good that I am using his name too. He
has been a big help in creating this. Thanks Eddie!

Thanks a lot! I would like to try it. If I install IV's Astronaut rpm
for CentOS, do I just need the CPRS.exe?

Thanks,

matt

Yes, it should work. -- IV

Great, it is out! I tested it by simply replacing cprschart.exe and it
fired up. Superficial aside: all mustard colored tabs I'm not that
excited about. Rainbow tabs I liked.

Do you create your html template boilerplate in something else and add
it or is there a template builder somewhere in it?

Like I said, the application needs a manual. But if I waited until I
got that out, then it would be another month or more...

The mustard-colored tabs are because I changed the way that the tabs
are stored in the .ini file. You will have to go and set them to the
colors you want again (They are edited under the Options menus). The
reason I changed it was because in the old way it was stored something
like "Orders = yellow". But if you ever changed the langauge, then
'Orders' became a new word, and the colors couldn't be found. So now
they are stored like "Tab 1 = yellow."

Regarding templates,
If you surround your template with
<html>

</html>

Then the system will automatically switch into HTML mode. For now, I
have been hand creating my templates using <B> </B> for bold etc.

If you are editing a standard note, you can right click, and choose
"Edit in Formatted Mode" to change to HTML.

Once in HTML mode, you can CTRL-right click, and you will get the IE
context menu. From there you can choose "View Source" and see the
HTML code. That code could be copy and pasted into a template.

Enjoy!

New Astronaut point click client installer for Kevin's html editing
tmg-cprs is up on sourceforge:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/worldvistaautoi/astronaut_worldvista_installer/astronaut_worldvista_server_0.6_Beta_client_packs/astronaut-tmg-cprs-client-alpha-0.2.exe

Use the uninstall program to uninstall the old one first. This should
be on the Windows Start menu-->Astronaut-->uninstall.

Not much change from the previous one: changed out cprschart.exe and
refreshed CPRSChart.ini file for the new color scheme. New version is
alpha-0.2.

Test away! :-)

Is is available as a zip file?

Thanks Ignacio.

Why don't you also post a screen shot that shows the note while being
edited, so one can see the bold button etc.

No .zip file. There used to be on the SVN server, but the last
version took this away. All you need are the CPRSChart.exe and the
CPRSChart.ini file. Also the server KIDS patches will need to be put
on your server if you have never used it before. The server patches
allow patient registration and editing. They are not needed for the
HTML editing.

Kevin, are you saying some of your files disappeared? If so, that was not
intended. Could you give me an example of a diappearing file?

No files have disappeared. But the old tracserver web interface had
an option where it would package all the files on a given display
page, and make them available for download as a *.zip file. That
functionality is gone. I confirmed this with Ray. Now, to get all
the files you have to do it the proper way, with a SVN client.

Thanks Kevin, for the clarification. I think I found a way around that, but I
can't recall how, an it may have been with the SVN client. I will try to dig
it up and post it.

Hi Kevin

When I download CPRSChart.exe (https://trac.opensourcevista.net/
browser/cprs/branches/tmg-cprs/CPRSChart.exe), the description of the
file states that it is version 1.0.26.69 and not 1.0.26.76.
Does anyone else have the same problem?

Lokking forward to try the HTML editing.

See here:
http://vistapedia.net/index.php?title=CPRS_Installation
and find TMG-CPRS in the table of contents, (just now added). :-)

I may have the description wrong. These two versions are
interchangable as far as I am concerned.

Kevin, I've gone ahead and put the SPOOF-VER in the Astronaut client
installers for this. I've uploaded the stand-alone tmg-cprs and I'll
be refreshing the others shortly... -- IV

Hi Eddie,
There are a lot of files here. Can we get a source folder in zipped
format to have a look at the new code?

No. You will have to use an SVN client to automatically download the
code. The web page used to have a .zip option, but not any more.
Sorry.
