如果有天Gmail瓜柴了......

這是一個假設性的問題，但我真的擔心如果Gmail關了，倒閉了，或是遇上嚴重故障，我們會受多大影響。

當然囉，影響多大，視乎我們依賴它多少。有很多東西我是直接存檔在Gmail，索性不下載的。換言之，它「瓜柴」的話，我可受很大影響。

倒不会用它备份，但注册用的邮箱都是它，一些账号可能就废了，而且也找不到其他值得信赖的免费邮箱作后备。

其他的，还是邮件联系记录最宝贵。

如果 gmail down左, 真係幾麻煩. 不過 data/email 唔會冇左既.

其實任何野都可能瓜... 分散投資是不錯的辦法，但十分麻煩

對嘛，要分散投資，管理就可麻煩了

當初當然會有瓜柴的考量, 朋友也會這樣問我...
我說, google 連我十年前在新聞組的post 仍archive,
所以我不太擔心...

我當初有用thunderbird 備份...
但過程太痛苦... (現在用了46%)
不理了... :p

真係擔心就密些用電郵軟件下載。
不過我估自己電腦瓜柴機會大過Google瓜柴 ^_^

或者設定auto
forward，每收到電郵就自動forward去另一個電郵戶口，例如Yahoo,
hotmail等，我估吾會全部公司的免費電郵一起瓜柴呀！

今朝都有Down過，但而家好番。
睇番呢條Thread，D人輪流數Gmail在那個國家Down了，奇景奇景！

已经用了475M，备份到硬盘上是不可能了…

其实备份数据倒还在其次，因为如果真的重要，平时都会自觉另存一份，关键是联系、注册用的都是这个gmail账号

我這樣想，如果開多一個Gmail
Account，而Backup的方法就是將自己Account的東西Backup到那邊，那麼就算一個Account被Delete，另一個也可以用，甚至連Gtalk也用得到呢

我用了1.6G了，很難再Backup

不用整了，我已经试过了，google 会连续给你发邮件报告空间满的消息，然后要你点击链接激活和清理邮箱
