Season's Greetings, Guerrillas,

Give your *Mrs. Santa Claus* DVD a rest for the night!  This Friday,
December 12 at 9 PM, Guerrilla Gay Bar hosts our jolliest takeover of the
year, when we invade:

THE ASSOCIATION

The Association is L.A.'s hottest new nightspot -- it opened only last
weekend!  The bar is unmarked on the outside, save for the door, which is an
exact replica of the Prime Minister's door at 10 Downing Street in London --
complete with a brass lion's head door knocker,

GAY APPAREL
Got a Menorah beanie, some Kwanzaa earmuffs, a velvet bowtie in the shape
of a poinsettia?  Finally, here's a place to wear it where someone (other
than the bewildered relative who gave it to you) will appreciate it.
 The cheesier and more over-the-top your holiday outfit, the better!

Alternatively, you could just look nice and classy for the holidays, and
we'll give you a black arm band.  But seriously, where's the fun in that?

SANTA HOPPED THE RED LINE
If you're coming from someplace subway-adjacent, note that the Red Line is
running on Friday night until 3 AM, so leave the car at home and take the
subway.  Otherwise, there are some public pay lots in the neighborhood and
at nearby Pershing Square (which is also the closest subway stop to The
Association.)

NAUGHTY OR NICE
Tell us whether you deserve a stocking full of coal or a tree surrounded by
presents when you RSVP at

You don't have to RSVP to come, but it sure heats up our cocoa when you do.

BABY, IT'S COLE'S OUTSIDE
Did we mention that The Association is brand new and awesome?  You should
have no trouble getting in at 9 PM or before, but you might face a wait in
line if you come any later.

If there's a line when you arrive, you might check out the "dimly lit...
ratty and elegant" Cole's next door, an L.A. staple since 1908 that has just
been re-opened by downtown nightclub impresario Cedd Moses.  (He's the man
behind 7 Grand, which we took over earlier this year.)  More info at
