Feel free to come on in and post! We need a discussion here. Any one have experience with Comoy Grand Slam pipes? I do, I bought one from the Wilzack estate and some it in Herb's memory. He was a truly great Man of the Briar.

Filter Pipes

Anyone smoke pipes with filters? Personally, I don't like filters in pipes. I'm not sure I have any at the moment. In an emergency, I have been known to buy a filtered pipe someplace and remove the filter. Cheers.

Pipe Bowl Sweetening

Periodically, I have to clean/sweeten up the bowl on my pipes. I've tried the commercial bowl sweeteners, which work fine. I use a pipe cleaner moistened with the sweetener to coat the bowl, then run another one through the stem and into the bowl of the pipe. But, eventually, I have to do a more thorough job.
