The tendency to include occult practices in the churches is growing and
alarming. I think it is because people found a good market where they
can offer meditation courses and the like, especially if they are
combined with traveling. If Christians have to decide where to spend
their vacations, they might prefer a Christian place where they can do
such things together with brothers and sisters. Since the churches
advertise for such travels, they are normally not aware that they engage
themselves with occult practices, and not many people warn them. It does
not even stop at the doors of my church, and I have no idea what to do
about it. Many people are so blind. The problem is if you warn them,
they still want to remain blind, and regard you a trouble maker.
We have new little books for the lessons in the Bible study, for
example, and I have read two articles in two little books that described
meditations for one's concentration on the breath, and I was shocked. I
warned the people in my Bible study group, but what else can I do?
When I went to the Bible study last time, I saw Obama's biography in the
window of our book-shop, which is where everybody has to go along if he
wants to join the service. Now Obama grinned at me from that window at
that place that should be saved for Jesus Christ. I asked the book shop
lady why she put that book there, and if she knew about his stand on
abortions... No, she did not, but finally it was a good book, she said -
so she must have read it! She could not even understand what I meant...
I told her about life abortions and partial birth abortions and that
Obama was to sign the FOCA, and what this means. But she said, she did
not really know exactly. I told her that I did, but obviously she did
not care. Obama is still grinning from behind the book shop. If it had
been Dr. Martin Luther or some other Christian who was a servant of
God... But the world and the devil always want to come into the churches
and destroy the faith of the people from within. I told the lady that I
would leave the church if Obama was to remain there. Finally, he is not
the Messiah, and what does he have to do in window of a Christian book
shop at a church. She did not care much. Meanwhile there has been enough
time for her to inform herself. But since she do not know much English,
she will just go on praising Obama for his probably well written
biography with no word of the practices of abortions in it. In fact,
these abortions are so cruel that the lady from the book shop at my
church could not even imagine it to be true, so she rejected my
objections, and Obama is still grinning. The big plus that Obama has for
me is that he is black. I like the idea of a black American President.
But that does not automatically make him a hero. I see his fruits in the
form of dead babies left alone on tables to die a cruel death, and I
think people who can accept that might also eat little children. Obama
could do many things right now, but knowing about his fruits makes it
impossible for me to accept him in a shop book window at my church. He
should repent.
I wonder if I should write an e-mail to warn the people of my church
about it... How would you see that? Is it my duty to keep silent, or to
stand up, or is prayer the right way, or all of it or nothing of it?
