Bicyclist Looking for a Lawyer

Does anybody have a recommendation for a bike-oriented lawyer in Eugene?  I was contacted by a fellow who was hit by a car and faces medical costs, and is looking for legal advice to see whether he can recover damages to cover his medical bills.  If you have any leads, please send them to me at sue.w...@gmail.com, and I'll forward the information to him.

What comes to mind for me is Ray Thomas's Bicyclists Legal Manual (or
some title similar to that). It has all kinds of advice on how to take
care of yourself legally and financially and medically after a bicycle/
auto collision. I also has the Oregon legal code as it applies to
bicyclists and bicycling. Good stuff on how to get stuff done or get
help getting it done.

Of course, Ray Thomas is an attorney in Portland who specializes in
those sort of bicycle related legal matters.

Arriving By Bike has the legal book for $5.00. That money is donated by
Ray' s law firm to the Bicycle Transportation Alliance.

This thread of messages is very old--but in case anyone would find him/herself in need of a lawyer in a bike injury case, here's a message that came my way:
 
I don't know how old this post is but I witnessed a car/bicycle collision on the corner of Adkins and Coburg Road yesterday, with the old lady driving the car clearly at fault. 
 
In 2010 I was hit by a drunk driver and didn't have a prayer because the kid that hit me had nothing except minimal insurance.  I hired Don Corson in Eugene and he worked wonders for me.  He never gave up trying to get "blood out of a turnip."  I can't speak highly enough of him.  He came through for me wonderfully.
